Connect Telegram
Send links to the DJ Sync bot on Telegram and they land in Rekordbox. Free, on any phone, with no AI subscription.
-
Pair Telegram with your Mac
Click the DJ Sync icon in your menu bar, go to Assistants and click Connect Telegram. DJ Sync shows a QR code.
- On your phone: scan the QR code with the camera. It opens Telegram.
- Or on your Mac: click Open Telegram if you use Telegram there.
Tap Start in the chat with the DJ Sync bot. The bot says hello, and the DJ Sync menu shows Telegram (@your-name).
The code works once, for 10 minutes. If it expired, click New code in the same place. Pairing again from another chat moves DJ Sync to that chat. -
Send a link
Paste a Spotify or YouTube link into the chat, or share it straight from the Spotify or YouTube app: Share → Telegram → DJ Sync. Add a playlist name after the link to choose where it goes:
https://open.spotify.com/track/… gqom
Names don’t need to be exact. If it isn’t clear which playlist you mean, or you didn’t say, the bot shows buttons: the closest playlists, Default (ChatGPT Downloads), and New playlist with the name you typed. Tap one.
-
Get told when it’s done
The bot messages you ✅ when the tracks are in Rekordbox, or ⚠️ with the reason if something failed. If your Mac is asleep or offline, the request waits and runs as soon as it’s back.
